This is based on a service while this company was operated at Jensens Shipyard in Friday Harbor. Numerous problems occurred while having my 16 aluminum runabout serviced. I’m writing this now as I just discovered that water hose was used to replace a fuel tank fuel hose. I was investigating a gas smell when I saw a kink in the fill hose. In the process of cutting it to make a better fit (eliminate the kink) I found the hose in the pictures. The owner was very helpful! I was passing through while traveling and he took the time to help me out and problem-solve a concern I had, steering me in the right direction for how to assess the issue. I would definitely recommend their business!
Jason and his crew were overly gracious in helping us with our motor. It was even right before closing and they stayed late to try and help us on the spot. Cannot thank them enough!

I heard about a new kind of bottom paint for boats and was initially quite skeptical. After speaking to the owner of the shipyard, I felt more confident and comfortable with having this product used on my boat. The owner was very professional and reassuring in his knowledge. Now that my boat is in the water again, I am beyond amazed. I have gained 2-3 knots using this silicon bottom paint. I could not be happier. We will see how it performs long term and how well it holds up. I’ll let Jason know.
