I went with my daughter and we had a wonderful experience!
The owner is very nice and friendly and does a great job with heal callus removal. Overall the pedicure she did not cut cuticles but paints them with the polish and my manicure was already chipping off the next morning. It may be a place better for gel or acrylics but I wouldn’t recommend for a standard mani/pedi. I did reach out to the owner for a refund on the manicure and waiting a reply.
I had such a wonderful experience getting my nails done and I'm SO happy with how they turned out. I'm in VT for the week and was really overdue for a nail refresh. I decided to try Essential after seeing photos online of the gorgeous nail art done here. I've never had nail art done, only boring solid colors, and have always wanted to get it. I had such a wonderful experience! It had been years since my last pedicure, and I was feeling embarrassed about the condition of my feet. Ms. Hong was able to take me as a walk-in, which was incredibly convenient. She was friendly, welcoming, encouraging, and so kind that I never once felt self-conscious. She immediately understood what my feet needed, and my pedicure turned out beautifully. We had a lovely conversation throughout the appointment, and I left feeling genuinely cared for. Mrs. Hong fit us in at the last minute and did not make us feel that we inconvenienced her. We received 2 manicures and a pedicure. We were impressed with the nail color selection. There were more bottles of polish than I have ever seen in a salon before. She was very focused on helping us find a color palette that would work with our skin tone.
