A great crew, in a full-service clinic. Offering MRI, physical therapy, pre-scheduled appointments and walk-in patients.
I recently tested positive for Covid so I called to see if I could get some antiviral meds. I was not offered the option to mask up and come to urgent care or anything else. The person I talked to said they could not help me unless my primary care doc was at Essentia. I had been there a couple times before for minor ailments and was treated very well. I did not understand this person's attitude. CLEARLY, she had an attitude. Thankfully, I did get some help and have recovered. But it was not with the help of Essentia.
Am wondering why a request for an appointment thru the VA to see my physical therapist or speech therapist at saint josephs hospital requested by my doctor from Essentia health would be grabed by the Essentia 34 clinic. It has happened 3 times now. It is very confusing and extends the time for me to be seen as requested. My Essentia doctor at a different clinic and his staff are fantastic! BUT, I do not appreciate being purposely mis directed and getting ing confusing phone calls from the walk in clinic in Park Rapids. I hav... read more
