Great place to have fun! Learn to dance a little at a time and practice at their regular dance nights.
My wife and I started taking dance lessons about 10 years ago. We first started taking lessons from Starlina in 2007. She played a key role in advancing our dancing ability. She’s extremely capable and does a great job. More recently, we’ve been going to the Friday night dances being held at Essentia. It’s a very nice place with great atmosphere and friendly people. We always have a great time. Dancing is great activity for the mind and body. I highly recommend it to all.
Challenging dance instruction for all levels of smooth, Latin, and even some country. Seems like there are always steps, posture, and connection to learn that makes the dance both correct and easier. Instruction rate is as much as you can absorb without constraint or pressure. The studio has a great appearance and a good dance floor. The clientele that I have met are really friendly, making events enjoyable. Try it out.
I love Essentia Dance Studio. Starlina, the teacher, has worked to make her studio a beautiful place to dance. She is also a born teacher who never tires of encouraging all levels of students.
I am having a blast learning latin dance from Starlina!! In addition to the steps,we are learning proper positioning, attitude, and form!! So much fun!!!
