I decided to give this massage business a try and so glad I did!! Cassie worked on me and helped get knots and tightness smoothed out. The building and rooms were quiet and peaceful. It felt comfortable and professional. She made sure the pressure was good consistently throughout the massage. You only dress down to your comfort level and are modestly covered the whole time. I had referred this place to a freind because I had heard good things about the female therapists that worked here . Her daughter bought her a gift card then a week later the female therapists quit . She called asking if there was anyway she could get a refund that she did not feel comfortable with a male therapist he said no. She tried calling again and couple times and even stopping by to maybe give the gift card to someone else or work something out , her calls were ignored and the door was locked during buisness hours .... read more

I was given a gift credit for Essence of Massage back in March. I prefer female masseuses so booked an appointment one. I got a message that I would be on a waiting list. Two months went by without a word from them. After that I checked to see if there was an opening with the therapist I had booked with, when I noticed all the female therapists were no longer there. I am so happy I found Essence of Massage & Bodywork! Brian is amazing! Very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. You can definitely tell that he truly has a passion for what he does.
