Communication as been great, along with reliability. Same crew shows up every week when they said they would be there. I've recommend Essence Lawn Care to all my neighbors now too.
I'm sorry to say that I had a terrible experience with Essence. I purchased a package of 6 vouchers for lawn mowing through a third-party company to try out Essence. I called Essence and scheduled my appointments. Given all the rain we were having prior to and including my first mowing date on a Monday, I was not surprised when they called and said they would not be able to come, and they would reschedule my mowing. First, I want to say that Daisy is great — she really did her best to make things right on several occasions, and I truly appreciate her efforts. Unfortunately, the service overall has been very inconsistent. The crew often didn’t show up as scheduled, and on more than one occasion, they even cut my neighbor’s yard instead of mine. Out of all the visits, I can only say the yard was done correctly once. The most recent visit was the final straw. They just disappeared after mowing and left us with a overgrown yard. It is a good thing we can still mow ourselves. I feel bad for people counting on them to mow.
