Upon arrival to the ESS Gateway Village I was told my room was not ready. After finally receiving a key, I went to the dining hall at 8.55am, to be told by one of the staff that, 'I was not allowed in there'. I went to my room where I found tradesman's tape everywhere, the bin overflowing, dirt and food scraps on the floor, feces on the inside of the toilet bowl, and small pieces of sharp copper wiring on the bathroom floor.
