After reading some reviews, we were hopeful to find some very creative cooking in a nice atmosphere. However, the entire staff seemed to be in over their heads. It was a price fix menu for Valentines Weekend at $69.00 a person. Extremely overpriced for what we received in terms of food and service. While the starters were delicious and the desserts somewhat interesting, if not delicious, our main entrees where dry and cold. We just finished eating at Espuma and couldn't be more pleased. The food was phenomenal and the service we received from Jason was outstanding. Special thanks also to Craig. Their professionalism, great food, and service will guarantee we will be back.
Today was my first time dining at Espuma. I am here with my 15 month old. Jay Caputo and his staff were very welcoming! Can't wait to come back with my husband. Oh and the food is delicious! Jennifer Stevenson
Classic case of a chef/owner getting in over his head trying to do everything himself and not delegating his employees to support him. Ordered the 6 course meal and left after 3. The chef tried to personally serve the other 9 tables that ordered the same thing, and cook at the same time. Just doesn't work when the restaurant was packed with 40+ diners. My recommendation is he makes an appearance at the table sometime during the dinner and train his employees to describe the different courses of the meal. Finally, because the... read more
