Follow up 3 years later, my husband still uses this press every day! He is an engineer for CN rail and let me tell you, this thing has taken a beating. It still works just as good as it did on day 1! I was so pleased recently to discover the Espro French press P7 after many years of using only a Bodum French press. What an extraordinary difference! The Espro press has a double filter which keeps the grounds and sludge from the coffee. The resulting coffee is remarkably clean, smooth and incredibly delicious. Furthermore, the double walled stainless steel canister keeps the coffee warm. Unlike a glass beaker, it doesn't break either. I can't recommend the Express press highly enough.
