Yuck! I last visited espresso's when I was attending Tufts University. It is a typical family run college town pizza parlor with the kitchen in full view. One time I was there and the kid making the pizzas wiped his nose on his sleeve in full view of the customers standing in line. I told the manager, who was standing right next to him. The manager shouted, "Don't ever do that in front of customers!" I never went back. PROS: Cheap college town pizza CONS: Low sanitary standards
Espresso Pizza Espressoâs is a hot spot among the Tufts community, primarily because it is so close to the Tufts campus. In the past, delivery has been relatively slow, and ordering food in-house takes a relatively long time unless they have the specific slice of pizza you requested ready to serve. I choose Espressoâs when I wish to order a calzone.
I ordered a pizza at 6:45 on a Thursday night. I was told it would be delivered to me in a half hour. At 7:55 (an hour and 10 minutes later) a cold pizza was delivered to me with no appolgy. I live 5 minutes away from the place. Unacceptable service, if you do order there do not get delivery.

The Tufts Late Night After Party Spot – If you are a drunk Tufts student, Then this is the place to be after the house parties let out, or just before heading out to late night. At that point of night the taste of the food dosen't really matter. If you are sober and awake, the pizza tastes as though it is completely artificial. The calzones leave alot to be desired.
Espresso Pizza has a 4 star rating with 168 reviews.
Espresso Pizza is closed now. It will open on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
