LA Fitness / ESporta is not transparent with their fees. I have paid an exorbitant amount of money for things that are not disclosed upon registering for a membership. Most recently, I was told that I have to pay $10./month to freeze/suspend a membership for my son who will be away at university for a year. When I purchased his membership I was told I could "freeze/suspend his membership at any time" (they withheld the cost of this).
