I came in with a fractured back and the staff was literally making jokes about me throughout the treatment. Only 3 hours after the accident (2.5 hours after arriving at the hospital), they literally told me that I should be able to walk out. WALK WITH A FRACTURED BACK?? Yup they had limited capacity and told me all I needed was a bed so I might as well leave to my hotel room. In panic I called my travel insurance and put them on the phone with the hospital. Thank you for taking such good care of me recently when I visited while on holiday. All the staff from the admin to triage nurse and rest of team my nurse (Steve) and my doctor (Aaron) were friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Such a nice experience compared to Perth ED’s.
