Drove from Jacksonville to try this place and was looking forward to it. We were seated outside and the atmosphere was very nice! Unfortunately, flies were all over our table and made eating a little challenging. I understand this is Florida but sanitizing the tables it could help. We ordered bread service but the bread was stale. The charcuterie board was really good and head nice options of cheeses, meats, honey and olives. So underwhelming. Paella was NOT paella.this was yellow rice cooked by itself, and then mixed with whatever meats you order. The sofrito and olive oil was not cooked first, the rice dish did not sear on the pan. There was no caramlization of flavors and oils at bottom of pan. Just not good. Not paella.
I had the Cazuela Mozabique. It was delicious.
Best Spanish/Portuguese restaurant for 300 miles.
