Aside from my niece looking beautiful and the hall was set up nicely the service was HORRIBLE, from no free refill on waters , small fatty brisket, and just not being there . We had to tip to get any good service before the event even started . There was nothing on snack cart witjinh 30 min . Of opening it . Over all it looked nice but not being able to sit in certain tables or u would have to get disposable plates . This was ridiculous.
Stop-Don’t do it!!! Horrible experience at Esmy’s Events this past weekend. Although the hall is beautiful it doesn’t make up for the lack of professionalism or lack of customer service skills. After reading other reviews I now see that this wasn’t an isolated event and after reading the owner Esmy’s responses I can see she hadn’t learned from her previous mistakes. Went to an event and left very disappointed in the service provided. The plates they served wasn’t enough food for an adult to enjoy. Smallest scoop of potatoes and rice with 2 small slithers of brisket or a very punny chicken. The bar was charging $15 for mixed drinks even though the family provided the liquor bottles. They wouldn’t open the doors for the guest, and made them stand outside in the heat until the “assigned time.” Which was another mess all in its self, they couldn’t confirm what time our event was actually sc... read more
