Dr park was my neurologist and I would go see her for my epilepsy. I called months ago to the Hoffman location she worked at to make another appointment and they told me she no longer works there. I heard she was going to a new hospital but I never received any news. Regardless it’s like she was helping me and just disappeared out of nowhere. Just sucks because no other neurologist in my area accepts my insurance.
I was seeing Dr.Park for a seizure disorder. I also have bipolar disorder. She was weaning me off of an epilepsy med because I didn't need it and I believed it makes my depression worse. After a blood pressure crisis, she wanted me to wean off more quickly because the med interfered with my blood pressure med. When I noticed mood problems, she said she was not a psychiatrist and to talk to one. There are no pdocs taking new patients in this area. Dr. Park found a medication regimen that effectively controlled my Epilepsy when other Doctors blew me off. She was clearly annoyed by this and dove right in to address it.
