I rarely review but I was truly shocked when I was blacklisted from their appointment system because I had missed my appointment. I got an email that said that because i had missed previous appointments, I was no longer able to book at their salon. First time, honest mistake- I had lost my grandfather that week and just totally blanked. The second time I had rebooked 24 hours in advance (all according to protocol) from like 11am to 2pm on the same day. i rarely leave reviews—good or bad—but I’m writing this because I’m genuinely upset over my haircut. I came in with reference photos of layered bobs. What I ended up with is one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had. The shape is awkward, the back top is so short compared to the bottom that it looks separate. Instead of layers that add movement, my hair was just aggressively thinned. It now sits flat, stiff and lifeless. Even after washing and styling it myself, it’s no better. Have been going to Kaori for my last few haircuts, she is thoughtful, careful & has impeccable skill. Like her so much that Ive started to bring my teenage daughters to her, as well.
