We've owned our 2016 Escape 5.0TA for almost 5 years now & I feel it's time to say thanks to Escape. We were newbies to towing but knew we wanted a sensibly sized, quality-built trailer. My wife and I recently flew across Canada to visit Escape Industries in Chilliwack, British Columbia. We are looking for a quality-built trailer that we can use for a long time, requires less maintenance, and then recoup most (if not all) of our investment when we are ready to sell. We are now into our 3rd summer with our 21NE that we picked up from the factory in the late fall of 2022. Our first outing was spring of 23. The first time I started the fridge that spring it caught fire and nearly burnt the trailer up and if it handn't been caught, probably our house as well. Luckily our neighbour saw the billowing smoke out the top of the trailer and called me back out of the garage. I popped the cover off and the back of the fridge was in flames.
