Not your average scavenger hunt! Mark and Aris's team put on a handcrafted game to get groups out solving clues together and seeing popular sites of Austin. Best part? No app, all game play is real clues, from a real box, with a real map. Yep it's pretty awesome.
Hands down one of the most unexpectedly fun experiences! A fantastic day was had by my husband, daughter and son. I appreciated all the support when stuck and for the sheer creativity of the enactment by Mark. I was looking for a family friendly way to celebrate Valentines with my 12&15 yo outdoors and it was the perfect solution. I highly recommend!
We booked Escape the Box as our holiday team-building activity for our group of 13 last week while we were staying at South Congress Hotel. Mark and Aris were fantastic hosts, and it was a great, creative way to get folks working together, especially with some new faces on the team! We split into two groups and the healthy competition aspect was a hit as well. A very unique experience that gives everyone something to do and engage in, and you'll end up with lots of hilarious photos at the end too!
We did this as our end of year social for a school organization. Mark was super helpful and communicative with us when we were preparing for the activity. We had an incredible time! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to explore Austin.
What a unique way to experience Austin! I've lived here for a while, but this game showed me all kinds of quirky landmarks I had no idea existed. The time travel theme was creatively integrated into everything we did. All of the artifacts that we got in our box were beautifully designed and high quality. There's even a mixtape to listen to while you play! We had our kids with us and they were able to participate and contribute, but they may have cost us the win. :)
