We attempted (or I should say I attempted) Detention here. It was my first ever escape room. I brought my husband for his birthday. Unfortunately he wasn't into it and walked out after about 10 minutes. So being on my own was definitely tricky. You really have to take in everything your hearing and seeing! I love seeing how everything comes together. I didn't escape, 😕 but I tried. I had a great time anyway! The staff was friendly and very helpful! I will definitely return (with a different party) !

We've done two rooms here now, S3RIAL and Aftermath. Having done over 10+ rooms total at 7 different locations between Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania Exit Plan very well may be the best we've done as a whole. Both rooms were absolutely spectacular. The attention to detail is incredible. The puzzles are intricate and just the right difficulty level. The staff have all been informative and kind. This place is top notch. I did an escape room in NOLA, and it didn't come close to matching the creativity and experience delivered by Exit Plan. Even though I've failed to escape both rooms I've tried at Exit Plan, it was a great time, great experience, and a top notch group of people running it. Can't wait to go back, 2 more rooms to try...I WILL beat them!

We had an amazing time at Exit Plan last night. The staff is super friendly and obviously love working there. They have a beautiful waiting room where you watch a short video before entering your room. We chose Serial, it was awesome! I've been to another escape room in DC and this one definitely was as good without the long drive.
