ESC Elevator, Inc. has been servicing and installing residential and commercial lift products in the greater Charleston area and along the South Carolina coast since 1938. Our company was originally founded in 1901 as Electric Supply Company and continued installing elevators and lifts systems after Mr. Eddie A. Melton purchased the company in 1972. We continue being a family owned business as our current owners and custodians of this long legacy are Charlie and Cindy Cantore. Cindy is the daughter of the late Eddie Melton.

Rude, incompetent, not trustworthy. ESC has been stringing us along for nearly 2 months in an attempt to return our elevator to working order. First tech came and wasn't able to diagnose the issue because he needed a special tool. The first tech returned 3 weeks later (yes, you are essentially placed in the back of the line each time they have to return) with his special tool and still wasn't able to diagnose. DO NOT USE this company. They are dishonest. Sold me parts that just broke down twice. Two other elevator companies inspected the work afterward and independently agreed that we were misled. The owner is a great salesperson and then unresponsive and dismissive to my requests to address the issues.
