Eroding facilities and terrible maintenance. I am appalled it's not illegal to permit this level of disrepair to exist on campus.
Place is filled with roaches and other insects. Even after covering the apartment in bug spray, I have dealt with the following in my dorm: grasshoppers, ants, roaches, flies, and spiders. Flies are a daily occurrence and roaches appear every two weeks on the dot. Pest control has come out and nothing has changed.
ES King could be a wonderful place to live for graduate students with family. However, the current administrator of the village has made it a living hell for graduate students. She is unprofessional and very difficult to deal with. I live here with my family for three years and did not have any positive experience dealing with her. If you are a graduate student with family, please avoid ES King and Western Manor like a plague (they are managed by the same person)You are better off else where.
