I took a starter in to bill last week to get an estimate what it would cost to re build for my tractor . big called back few days later and informed me it would cost anywhere from 850 too 3000 dollars to fix. I told him id come pick it up ..when I did he told me he's charging a 250 dollar charge to give an estimate ..I told him that's ridiculous I asked him what his hourly rate was he said 250.00 an hour.
