Recommended2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD had all kinds of tranny problems. Ernies figured out what was wrong and took care of the problem promptly. What a pleasure to work with this company. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

This guy cannot build a performance transmission. My tranny fell apart in under 1500 miles after his first rebuild. Less than 2000 after his 2nd. My new builder had to order a new valve body, and new over drive components because this guy pried parts out with a hammer and screwdriver. His shop is a mess, and bathroom is filled with porn. Absolutely disgusting. He should stick to rc cars and boats.

Ernie's has replaced/rebuilt the transmissions in two of my previously owned cars. The last time he did, it was for my station wagon, which my regular mechanic, at the time, told me wasn't worth repairing. The car lasted another five years, even though the guarantee was only for a year. And it wasn't the transmission that finally quit, it was the engine. He is a locally owned business and I wouldn't take a car needing transmission replacement anywhere else.
