This is so embarrassing, I am going to comment and highly recommend a Doctor and a medical facility for a medical procedure no one wants to talk about. I will share my experience, not only because it turned out excellent but I want people to have this procedure done to screen for a potential health concern that can be addressed if caught early! I was due for another colonoscopy this year, due to my family history I requested an upper endoscopy at the same time to minimize the anesthesia. The facility I was initially referred to didn't submit my family history properly to the insurance company and even messed up the surgery center at the last minute. Cannot recommend Dr. Castro and his team enough. Was very frustrated post child birth after seeing 3 doctors prior to him and getting no help/relief. He immediately made me feel validated in my concerns and offered quick help. I’m very thankful that he took the time to get me in two days after calling and for the thorough care he provided. Dr Castro is very professional and he made me feel at ease!
During my first visit, Dr. Castro spent over an hour with me and really listened to my issues. His genuine attention to detail and willingness to hear me out made a significant difference. After following his recommendations, I am now feeling considerably better than I have in over a year.
