5-star for being the most welcoming sweetheart but 1 star for her skills with black woman hair. She had no idea what to do with 4b hair texture. I walked out looking bad.
Edit: After posting my review, I heard back from her. She explained herself, tried to book me in again. Unfortunately, I had booked elsewhere already. I asked for my deposit back and she sent me back my money. I hope in the future, she can learn from this experience. I booked an appointment with Ermilla and paid the deposit. Morning of appointment she emailed me and canceled the appointment for a valid reason. She asked me to reschedule with her by sending her my availability, which I did the same morning. Ermilla did an outstanding job with my hair. I came in for a balayge colour and trim, and wow, I'm beyond happy with the result! I also brought my daughter for a curly haircut and style, and the outcome was amazing. Ermilla was kind, attentive, and explained each step of the process. I highly recommend her!
