Erith Coal Mine Trail, Bundanoon, NSW, 2578, Australia
Get directionsGreat walk. Steep with lots of steps but worth it. Especially the final bit to the bottom of the falls
Make sure you wear shoes with grip it's a steep and scrabble surfaced descent...not alot of water over the falls today but it was still a nice walk...coming back up the incline was hard on the knees... it probably would help to have some level of fitness but I did it !!!
The trail going there is moderate and quite easy. However to get to the base of the fall requires a little more dexterity, as the path down is not marked. However, you can see a steep short path down to the base of the waterfalls and there were a few fallen trees that you can balance on to get to the other side of the small lagoon. Looking from the top down is not as impressive as looking from the ground up. It's a nice waterfall to go to.
A picturesque short hike with some challenging steps. Well worth the time.
