Since it was my first visit to a dental clinic in Canada, I would say the experience was very good. My first visit was with Dr. Lai, she explained the whole procedure and x-rays. Also a big thank you and note of appreciation for my hygienist Devi Thumbasamy as she did a pretty good job with my cleaning, it was very gentle, at a normal pace (not too fast) and painless especially given my earlier dental experiences. I had a bad experience with the staff here. I was booked for an appointment without my confirmation, leaving me with no prior knowledge that I’d have an appointment soon. I did not ask to be scheduled for an extraction, and I had said I was unsure of going through with that. Later, when I’d missed the first appointment, I was rescheduled for another time, which once again, I did not confirm. Since there’s a cancellation fee, I felt like I had no choice but to attend the appointment I was unsure of and was not prepared for. L... read more
I was treated very well. From the moment I stepped through the door, I had a feeling I was in the right place. This was my first time getting dental work done here. I was on the Ontario Seniors Dental Program and I had been "assigned" a dentist to work with. I wasn't too happy with the results so when I switched to the Canadian Dental Care Program I was able to choose my own dentist.
