I contacted Erina Car Air Conditioning to ask about repairing my vehicle’s air conditioner after the compressor had seized. I explained that I already had a second‑hand replacement compressor and was hoping to have it installed and the system re‑gassed. The person I spoke with informed me that they do not install second‑hand compressors because they consider it unprofessional. Disappointed! Unfriendly, unhelpful, abrupt & disinterested in offering any advice, service or assistance. If you've got an older vehicle don't bother with this business.
Sorry folks, this business was really so disappointing on my recent visit. Was less than interested in my business. Responded to say the he had No expertise in my car brand and therefore unable to help with a simple regas to the A/C unit.Seriously how complex can it be to undertake a simple A/C regas request. That's all it was just a regas, nothing too complex. Shameful customer service ethics from a mature tradie. I moved away from this Erina local business disenchanted to say the least. James @ Terrigal
I took my Hyundai iLoad here because the air-conditioning had stopped blowing cold. I was told the compressor was seized and that I would need a new compressor and likely a new condenser as well. I was quoted approximately $1,500 for the repair. I decided to get a second opinion and took the van to another air-conditioning specialist. They found the system was simply over-pressurised and after degassing and re-gassing it correctly, the air-conditioning is now working perfectly. I have a 2013 lancer air con stopped blowing cold air.took car in left it to be looked at.got a call saying the system was old and would be expensive to replace .they recharged the gas and said it should at least last the summer.air con is working for that im very gratefull.im sure their are companies out there that would have taken me for a ride on repairs.i know now when the air con stops i will not look at spendig tousands on repair.honest and friendly people
