I wish this place saw birds. I know, just by how they handled the death of my little one today, that they would have taken great care of them through their lives. They were very compassionate and helped end his pain. Would definitely recommend and will use them again for any more end of life emergencies. Unfortunately the Raleigh/Durham area is where most of the avian vets are right now. Really wish we had something closer to home.
I am currently facing my family member who has a life limiting illness and as a result, he is at a house home. I had reached out Dr. Harris who gave me guidance on how to help one of my dogs relax because I know she is missing my brother. This clinic is by far the best, most welcoming veterinary clinic I have ever been to. My cat had went missing for over a month and when she made her way back home, we discovered she was mildly injured, I called the clinic and they were very prompt at getting her cared for that same day! They took all the necessary steps to ensure she was comfortable and cared for. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. This clinic gave my fur baby a second chance at life and I am forever grateful. After years of bringing my dog to this animal hospital, I'm deeply disappointed by my recent experience. I was quoted $150-175 for a simple examination of some bumps but was charged $391 at checkout because they performed bloodwork without my knowledge or consent. When questioned, staff claimed it was "necessary" for a future dental cleaning I hadn't even agreed to during that visit.
