Dr. Schaeffer is an absolute god sent. The best bedside manner, she just becomes a new friend. But she is also there when you need her in any way medically. She will definitely make you feel like a priority and so at ease throughout any process.
The best experience I had in a long time. I went to her Westport CT office. The staff is great/amazing very sympathetic, supportive, caring, and Doctor Schaeffer is amazing. I highly recommend her.
I can not say enough good things about Dr. Schaffer. If you are a new patient, you may have to wait a few weeks to get in, but I promise you it is worth it. I have so much anxiety when it comes to OBGYNs, and without even knowing, Dr. Schaeffer eased my anxiety. She made me feel so comfortable and validated. Everyone needs a Dr. Schaeffer in their lives (and her lovely office staff- super friendly and kind). She has an incredible bedside manner and her sense of compassion is so sincere. As a patient (and an L&D nurse for a different health system), I can hands down say that Dr. Schaeffer is the best of the best and there’s no one else I’d see for care.
After 20+ years with my GYN, I had to relocate upon their retirement. My sister recommended Dr. Schaeffer, and after one visit, I can’t speak highly enough of her or my experience! Dr. Schaeffer clearly knows her stuff; she was kind, down to earth, and equal parts informative and compassionate. As someone who suffers from white coat syndrome, I am so thankful to have happened upon such an awesome doctor!
