Did not listen to issues and ignored recurring problems. Ended up in the hospital and was put on long term disability, with serious life-threatening issues. Her notes said "He is fine and was just anxiety. Should see a psychiatrist." Like what? Complete ignorance and medical malpractice, I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this person. Almost made me give up on UPMC entirely. How can you completely ignore serious clinical issues and write if off as just anxiety and give it the ole "Suck it up" mentality. Dr Erika Ramsey has been an excellent PCP for over 15 years... Insightful, creative and finding solutions for my health concerns.
Always listens and takes time with every visit. She knows our history and reads through everything . She is prompt in responses . Professional-kind-caring. I never thought we’d find a Doctor to replace Dr May but we did! We’re very thankful for Dr Ramsey.
Called office for my sister who had a very bad cough and 15 min later we had a video doctor appointment. Dr Ramsey is so kind and professional. We really appreciate all she does for us.
Finding a doctor isn’t easy. Who can you trust? Who will actually take the time with you? When we go a doctor, we are expecting them to hear us, to see us, and to provide us with the best care possible (specific to our individual needs).
