I was looking for a female urogynocokogist for chronic issue I was having, and I was very hopeful when I found Dr Wasenda online. She was booking pretty far out, so I waited a long time to see her. Unfortunately, it was NOT worth the wait. She was cold and dismissive from the minute she walked in the room. She barely listened to what I had to say and faced the computer the whole time. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wasenda. After months of being bounced between specialists for a seemingly unidentifiable source of pain, she sat down and had a thorough conversation with me about my history and did a step by step informed exam. She was empathetic and attentive to my needs in ways other specialists haven’t been. Thanks to her for validating my pain and being solutions oriented.
Dr Wasenda was wonderful. She explains, teaches and is very empathetic. I dreaded going for my problem but now I am so grateful and will be her patient forever. I recommend her highly.
Dr. Wasenda built my trust by telling me every little thing she was doing during my exam, and then destroyed that trust by performing a procedure on me without telling me or getting my permission. When I confronted her about it, she seemed genuinely surprised that I had a problem with what she did, and gave me an apology that seemed insincere to me. January 21, 2024
