Dr. Erik Altman and staff are a fantastic group. Thorough, caring, efficient and communicative. He walked me through every step, took time to explain my condition prior and showed me the results after he implanted the newest technology Abbott dual chamber AVEIR Pacemaker which is leadless. I have no scars and I am told it will last 12 years. I can’t thank this group enough for what they bring to the table. Dr. Altman is a great doctor and very caring. He saved my son’s life about 8 years ago, and my son is doing great! I am annoyed at the person on here who gave him one star. He doesn’t have to take the time to explain pacemakers, because someone else can do that just as well. In surgery, you want Dr. Altman and he absolutely does care about his patients.
My husband Andrew is a patient of Dr Altman. Andrew writes-- I had PVC and required an ablation . My cardiologist referred me to Dr. Altman. Dr. Altman is an expert performing ablations. He explained the procedure and calmed all my fears. The procedure took 3 hours and was a success. It really is a miracle that I no longer suffer from debilitating PVC that woke me up at night and took my energy during the day. Dr. Altman has a gift and he shares it with his patients.
