My Border Terrier was due for shots and I had to get him a checkup. Since I was visiting my parents I thought I would give a close-by vet a try since I had no luck in Toronto finding a decent vet that doesn't rip you off without even helping your best friend. Erie Vet hospital had an appointment right away and my dog had a good experience. He got his shots they gave me some ear medicine that seems to be helping his yeasty ears and all went well. My 11yr old Golden had a bad cut and unfortunately my vet was on vacation we called everywhere with no luck then we got a hold of Erie Vets and he was in within half hour. Everyone was very helpful and compassionate after sedating him and stitching his wound we brought him home, someone from the vets called every three days to check up on Baloo till he had his stitches out. We switched to Erie vet about 3 years ago on a recommendation from a family member. We were not happy with the vet that we had been going to. We have received top notch care and compassion from all of the staff. We now have another puppy and she is so happy going there. Our older dog has had some health scares and I am so glad that Erie vet is treating her. We especially like that they have individual rooms. We also like that they don't overbook. This is the 4th cat in a row that i brought here, put my trust in the vet's hands, paid thousands of dollars for surgeries just to find every single cat dead within two weeks. The cat i have now is suffering from what they called one in a million times that this happens....so far i have spend 5000 dollars just to see my cat in the same situation as he was when i brought him in.
