Erie is not an exception to the rule of insurance companies only looking out for themselves. My parked vehicle was hit my an intoxicated young man insured by Erie Insurance. Knowing this young man was highly intoxicated I did not want to involve the police which could possibly have ruined his life with a criminal record and DUI.
