The conversation I had with their call center agent Josh was EXTREMELY cold and disconnected. The irony is THEY cancelled my insurance INCORRECTLY after receiving my payment. They had me driving around for over a month not knowing my insurance was canceled. That is both dangerous and illegal. Sending us to collections for $54 dollars after ONE notice after we cancelled our account. This is how you lose customers for life! And not just us, our families and friends, and acquaintances will never hear another good thing about your company. We will go out of our way to discourage anyone from using you as an insurance company. Erie is not an exception to the rule of insurance companies only looking out for themselves. My parked vehicle was hit my an intoxicated young man insured by Erie Insurance. Knowing this young man was highly intoxicated I did not want to involve the police which could possibly have ruined his life with a criminal record and DUI.
