My father was hit while he was just sitting at a stop- sign....my parents car was totaled and he was injured. The lady who was at fault has Erie. Erie has been nothing but horrid to my parents. My father who has a bad heart and my mother who just broke her hip were first told by Erie that their car was impounded and that's why things were taking extra long with a settlement....that was a a lie it was always at the salvage yard. Cancelled my insurance months ago but they keep trying to charge me. Very unprofessional, when I called and told them I canceled months prior they simply said they will keep charging me. Never going back

Was purposely hit by a person insured with Erie Insurance. I'll just say, they were enraged, we had a witness and they were issued citations. They totaled my car (air bags deployed)- a car we had bought brand-new. The Erie system went down, we were without a car for a month before they finally accepted liability and got us in a rental. They low balled me on the value so badly that I had to fight with comparisons, etc. I know, I know that's how insurance works - but if you think about it, it really shouldn't. Not only worse car insurance company but worse company ever dealt with. Raised my insurance $40 a month for just calling and giving my new address that was only 10 miles down the road and then when I called and canceled they were rude and never even asked me why I was canceling. And on top of that they refused to cancel my policy. I had to call my bank to stop doing business with them.
