ECMC's Emergency Room has greatly improved. The renovations made it better. You still may have a long wait, but not as long as in the past. I waited 30 minutes to be called, but It still took 2 hours after I got to my room to see a doctor. Service was good. Then 2 hours waiting to be discharged smh. But it's a better place now, pleasant & quiet & I'm thankful for that!
One of the WORST ER in the Entire region. Look more like a homeless shelter than an emergency department. Arrived at the ER 9 PM, And currently it's 5:30 AM and still haven't seen by Anyone. Just random from desk staff checking vitals to make you feel like they are doing something. This place is Just filled with homeless people that trying to get a room to stay warm for the night by claiming illness. Need more night staff or at least prioritize actually ER patients.
Don’t come to ECMC at night for MRI they do NOT do them until the morning. Can’t even get a time they start the MRI. If you try to ask the staff a question when you haven’t seen anyone come into the room for hours they give you a dirty look because you are taken them away from their phones. Health care in America SUCKS!!!
