Dr. Erickson is highly skilled in providing empathy and understanding. I was referred to him by my MD and found it to be a life changing experience. As an abuse survivor Dr. Erickson was able to help me share my memories, no matter how painful and disturbing which, while it did not take away the memories, it took away the PAIN from the memories. DO NOT WORK WITH HIM. HE IS RUDE. ZERO STARS. I should’ve googled him. I found him online, I sent him an email, he called me to go over some questions you know insurance, my availability etc. but through the whole thing he was RUDE AND JUST CLICK ON ME didn’t even let me explain the whole reason why I wanted therapy he just said yeah this won’t work.
To help balance out the fact that the doctor here posted a 5-star review just to balance out the negative one he previously received. Thank you other user for warning me away.
This guy is arrogant, greedy, and unqualified. My first and only session with him was cut short when I was describing my situation and he told me he could not take me on as a client because he was, and I quote, "not qualified enough for you". I then received a bill from him. He charged my insurance $225 and charged me personally a $20 copay.
