I do not recommend this provider. My experience was extremely disappointing both in quality of care and in billing practices. The sessions I attended were not what I would consider meaningful therapy — they mostly consisted of the provider sharing personal anecdotes rather than offering structured guidance or evidence-based techniques. I'm sorry to read that Dr. Zimmer was not able to help the person that left the low review. My experience has been so different with him. He really cares, knows a LOT and had done so much to help me. I am making great progress and my sessions with him have been life changing.

Dr. Zimmer is the SECOND PREFERRED COURT RECOMMENDED therapist that is manipulative, sneaky, and dishonest in my opinion. My 10 year old daughter was sent to him after 10 months of father failing to get child to court ordered therapy. Mr. Zimmer saw my daughter while she was court ordered to another therapist. I called to contact Dr. Zimmer when I realized that daughters father did not have emergency asthma inhaler at her daycare. I got no phone call response back.
