My daughter went in with asthma issues, petecheai, and a burning sensation in her head. She informed said dr that she was having trouble breathing and was using her inhaler, but couldn’t find her nebulizer and could he please prescribe one. He actually threw his head back and laughed at her! He said you can’t breathe because you’re anemic-she replied that WIC had just tested her and her iron levels were fine. I had a tubal ligation done by Dr. Martinez and I've had zero negative effects from my surgery, and everything went smoothly during and after. I kept him as my gynecologist in the years following. Initially in the pre-surgery consultations I was put off by him and almost changed doctors, but after a while realized that's just his demeanor. He gets to business and doesn't chit chat. I've come to like this, as he doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. Exams are no big deal.
