This is my first review, but I had to write one after this experience. I’ve been with Ochsner my whole life and have never had a physician as amazing as this one. He was extremely thorough, caring, and professional. Most importantly, he truly listened and took my concerns seriously, which means so much. I would absolutely give him a 10/10 and highly recommend him to anyone in need of a new PCP. After some not-so-great experiences with other providers, I feel truly blessed that one of my clients referred me to him.
He is the epitome of a wonderful physician. He is intelligent, realistic, caring, compassionate, thorough, professional, and seems to be a person that other physicians should take notes from. Having a bad experience within the Ochsner system I was reluctant to give another Ochsner Physician a try, however I am grateful that I did.
After going all LCMC I went to Ochsner E R and then established care with Dr Wilder. He not only treated the symptoms but made sure of the. cause of them and addressed that directly. Professional, courteous and he did what he had to do to help me in medical crisis. Dr Wilder went above and beyond where no other physician has gone previously. He's my PCP from now moving forward.
