I received misdiagnosis and suboptimal treatment suggestions before I met Dr. Winer at Dana Farber. I got nothing but a great thing to say about him. He guided me in the right direction and provided selfless service when my family and I were lost and confused. Thanks to him and the fantastic Dana Farber, I'm recovering fast. Highly recommend him!
Ask for another doctor. He is not proactive, has no publications, does not listen and my father would of died in his hands!! My father was diagnosed with CMML, a rare leukemia and this man has no business in treating people who have CMML. Always listen to your guts. He put my father on wait and watch and didn’t bother to explain his lazy treatment. He just said we will treat his symptoms when he gets them.
