I really like Dr Pitts, but his office is so unresponsive. We are currently on day 5 of no response even after being told they would mark the portal message urgent. This happens all the time and it's frustrating when someone has a very precarious diagnosis. When labs are ordered and an infection is noted, no one ever calls or orders meds. Dr Pitts is nice enough, but the office is the BIG downfall and sadly, I think we are at our limit because NOTHING ever changes.
My daughter has CKD with a long medical history. We moved from pediatrics to an adult nephrologist. I did extensive research trying to find a the best doctor for my 18 year old. Dr. Pitts is very knowledgeable and has wonderful bedside manners. He took his time getting to know my daughter and understanding her history as well as our concerns. Dr Pitts runs a great professional office. Check in is quick and Dr. Pitts is as professional and personable as we want our Dr. to be. He takes additional time to explain how your issue affects you short and long term. He believes in preventive medicine and takes the time to explain the process to you. You leave feeling better.
