I had surgery 2 weeks ago with Dr. Carkner. I literally almost feel no pain already. I highly recommend him and Boston Orthopedic and Spine. His staff has been amazing also. I haven’t felt this good in years
I had a successful L5-S1 microdiscectomy with Dr.Carkner . After 7 months of sciatica pain that wasn’t healing with conservative treatment, I was referred to him. Dr.Carkner took time going over my mri and helped me understand the surgery. He made me feel confident going into surgery. I was very happy to shake his hand after waking up post op with relief.
I had a very successful spinal surgery. Dr. Carkner and his team are great. Highly recommended!
He preformed a disc replacement on me that ended with terrible complications. I now have paralysis, chronic pain, unable to work, bowel and bladder complications. His office staff tell you that running 103 to 104 fevers, and severe headaches are normal post op. He has absolutely ruined my life and now I am bedridden 22 hrs. a day. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor.
Dr. Carkner was informal and warm. Gave me all the information I needed, and was very patient.
