My significant other was showing obvious signs of an ulcer and possibly hernia. We had a telehealth visit with Dr. Nordstrom explaining symptoms and asked for the appropriate diagnostic testing. Dr. Nordstrom proceeded to deny us any diagnostics citing that testing is “expensive” and he did not “believe” that my significant other had an ulcer or a hernia. I really like Dr. Nordstrom. He takes my symptoms seriously and always asks my opinions regarding his suggested treatment plan. I can tell he cares about his work and his patients because he said to me at the end of the appt, "please update me on how things go and which treatment option worked for you, if any. That way, I can use that info to better help other patients."
Would be nice if they actually answered their phones to schedule an appt. Been calling several times a day for over a week sometimes waiting an hour and no one answers. ☹
Excellent experience with Dr. Nordstrom. In my pre-op appointment and in my colonoscopy he was thorough and professional, explained everything to me, and was very courteous and helpful. He spoke language I could understand so I could understand exactly what would, and then did, happen.
