Wonderful doctor!
I had a consult with Dr. Schwetschenau for a lump on my throat and trouble swallowing. His bedside manner was not the friendliest (I felt as if I was wasting him time with what he seemed to perceive as a minor issue). He looked in my throat, looked in my nose, talked with me, and that was it. Then I got my bill... And I was charged for a PROCEDURE rather than a consult. If you need sinus surgery or just an Ent doc in general this is your guy. Cannot express how blessed I feel having had my surgery under his care. Love that he lets you be part of your healthcare decisions. That is extremely rare. He was willing to let me try the meds which were mostly successful and bought me 8 months so I could make the best decision for my family. Lastly surgery cost overall was about 75% less than the other surgeon that was going to do the work due to amount of OR time needed . Not something I had ever th... read more
