Dr Friedman came in just before my chemotherapy port surgery wearing red, white and blue flags all over his surgical cap. Politics don’t belong in hospitals. I didn’t even want him to touch me after seeing that but I didn’t feel like I had a choice. He placed the port where it can easily be seen. Almost in my cleavage.
