Horrible post op experience leading to permanent damage to hand and surgical failure. Doctor would not evaluate problems post op and only PA’s were assessing and mismanaging problems. All this pain and suffering was avoidable if the surgeon had been responsible enough to address his patients after surgery.
I made an appointment for before surgery consultation but I didn’t see him his assistant kept going back and forth to him to answer my questions After surgery I didn’t have a visit for 3 months my hand was in cast probably too long and now the fingers that had already some arthritis are not bending. He did great on my thumb but the rest of my hand suffered a lot. If I knew the risk I would not gone through with the surgery.
