I started seeing Dr. Asconape years ago after having grand mal seizures. Neurologists I saw for years before seeing Dr. Asconape kept prescribing strong drugs that did not work and had many side effects. Dr. Asconape changed my prescription. I have not had any seizures or side effects since I started seeing Dr. Asconape. I was lucky to have Dr. Asconape recommended to me.
Dr. Asconape did a wonderful job of screening my medical back ground. He, quite correctly, indicated that the "seizure medication" that I had been taking for several years had several bad side effects. He put me on a program to change the medication to one the has far fewer side effects and is equal to or better than the past medication. I transition to the new medication without incident.
