☆☆☆☆ Misleading and Unprofessional Advice I had a very disappointing experience with this letting agency. I was told — incorrectly — that I am required by law to add my partner to the tenancy agreement, simply because she is over 18. That is not true. There is no legal obligation to put every adult living in a property on the tenancy agreement — it is a matter of policy, not law. Almost two months into a tenancy agreement and they still have not replaced an oven which was advertised with the property despite being made aware of the situation. The property came with a washing machine that didn't work, presumably there for false advertisement purposes as well despite being expressly told by the estate agent that it worked. I do not recommend Erik clarke estate agents in Farnworth, for months we have tried to book viewings with with, through online enquiries and phone calls. You can never get through to them and when we leave voicemails they dont return calls. Today i called them but selected option 1 for valuations instead of sales, and the lady answered straight away , i explained to her that no one seems to be returning calls.
